03 / POLICY ENGINE
THE MODEL REQUESTS. THE ENGINE DECIDES.
Guardrails run server-side, not inside the model. Set an amount below and watch the decision flip — this is the real logic, not a mockup.

A single “I couldn’t cancel” call that turns into a chargeback runs about $15 plus card-network fees — and dents your Stripe account health. 1reply Pro is $149/mo.
01Does it actually take actions, or just draft replies?
Both, depending on the pillar. Reviews get a drafted reply you approve, edit, or auto-send by rule. On the phone line and in email, it can refund or cancel a subscription directly through the customer's Stripe record — but only inside the guardrails you set.
02How does it know the caller is who they say they are?
It verifies against your Stripe customer record — email match, card last four, and a one-time code for anything involving a refund. No verification, no action.
03What stops it from refunding the wrong person, or the wrong place?
Refunds only ever go back to the original payment method — never a new card, bank account, or gift card. That rule lives in a server-side policy engine, not the model, so it can't be talked out of it.
04What happens when it's not sure?
It opens a ticket with full context — transcript, caller identity, what it wanted to do — and pushes it to your phone for a one-tap approve or deny. Nothing happens until you decide.
05Do I need to switch payment processors?
No. It reads and acts through your existing Stripe account. You keep your processor, your payouts, and your data.
06Can I keep a human in the loop for everything, at first?
Yes — training-wheels mode requires your manual approval for the first batch of billing actions before it can act on its own, and you can flip a per-tenant kill switch at any time.
